The Moment of Realization

Those close to me know of my obsession with magic, but this week, I decided to take it a step further. In my free time, I watch a lot of videos of magic performances and such, but as I was clicking around, I found performances on a sect of magic that delves into human psychology much more, it was hypnotism. I watched numerous performances on this art, and suddenly, I was filled with a desire to learn how to become a hypnotist. After researching extensively on hypnotism and the mechanisms involved in it, I looked at hypnotherapy and learned that hypnotism is actually just a method of drawing out the human subconscious and suggesting things to help the mental status of people.

Somewhere between researching for a hobby and doing a Research Assessment for ISM, somethin in my head clicked. I quickly looked up if there had been studies conducted on hypnotherapy with cancer. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this was an avenue explored by doctors and scientists. As I immersed myself in the information, I realized that this is what I want to cover for my ISM Original work and maybe even my Final product, as it is something I may continue to work on as time progresses.
